This bracket is for big block Chevrolet engines with long water pump and will mount the alternator on the passenger side of the engine just as the factory brackets do.

Application
|
For 1965 thru 1990 396 - 427 - 454 with a long water pump and the alternator mounted on the passenger side.

Restrictions
|
Cannot be run with race style intake that do not have the factory bolt holes for mounting bracket such as Edelbrock victor Jr. If you are running one of these intake manifolds use (use MCC575)
