approximately 1 5/8".

This air cleaner spinner nut is approximately 1/2" thick.

Mounting :
This
should replace a wing nut directly though it is possible
your air cleaner stud will need to be cut slightly to
install.

Application : For
any air cleaner that uses a 1/4 x 20 stud and has room for
its diameter.

Restrictions
: Will not work on a 5/16 air
cleaner stud used in some aftermarket carburetors without
an adapter.
