Thickness:  These valve covers are stamped from approximately .038 thick steel.

Application : Big Block Ford muscle car engines 352 / 390 / 427 / 428 

Valve Covers : This set is stock height. (approximately 4 inches)  WILL NOT clear roller rockers . Each valve cover has one hole in it for accessories.

Baffled : YES, these valve covers come with steel baffles in each

Gaskets : NO, these do not come with gaskets, Any Quality gasket made for the FE Ford  will work on these valve covers

Valve Cover Accessories : Hold downs, breathers, PCV valves etc. DO NOT come with the valve covers but can be located on the left side links on this page and purchased separately . Each valve cover has 5 mounting holes so you will need 10 bolts or spreaders etc. when ordering for this set.

Installation tips : When tightening your valve cover start on the low side and tighten in a cross pattern to the correct torque spec . Do not over tighten the valve covers when installing them!

Restrictions: Mid 60's Thunderbirds and Fords with large brake boosters should check their valve cover clearance to the brake booster. You will need approximately 4 1/2 inches from the cylinder head's valve cover surface to the brake booster.
