Part #(MCC152) Installation tips: This Offset Air Cleaner base is simple to install  and just replaces the drop bases on most 14 inch air cleaners be sure to consider additional height over a recessed base and hood clearance on your application when using this base . Material Chrome steel , triple plated Copper / Nickel / Chrome. Visible edge is polished Air cleaner Flange Size This  air cleaner base has a 5 1/8 air cleaner flange for most four barrel carburetors Flat Base This air cleaner base is flat and sits aprox 1/8 off  a flat surface Diameter This is designed to work on aftermarket 14 inch diameter air cleaners . Hardware This base comes with offset stud and the necessary hardware to install (as shown in picture) Application For cars with 5 1/8 neck size carburetors that want to move the air cleaner forward or backward  1 1/8 inches to clear H E I or large cap style distributors . Fits all MotorChrome 14 inch round air cleaners and most aftermarket 14 inch round air cleaners as well Restrictions  Will not work on carburetors with a flange size smaller than 5 1/8  .
