on this oil pan .This pan can be used on earlier than 1974
engines but must use the 74-81 3 rib style gasket
Thickness : This
part is stamped from
approximately .042 thick steel.
Restrictions : This pan will not
fit truck or vans or Pontiac 389 engines
Installation tips :
If you are installing a new oil pan and pick up tube on
your oil pump be sure to measure the depth of the pickup
tube in relation to your new oil pan for the proper
clearance when installing
