Part #(MCC564) Installation tips: MCC564 bracket installs just as your factory bracket mounts. Due to minor variations in factory/aftermarket tolerances on intakes and water pumps mounting holes it is recommended that you install all bolts loosely and then tighten bracket in place evenly. Material Chrome steel , triple plated Copper / Nickel / Chrome Bolts  MCC564 Bracket Does Not come with mounting bolts Thickness Upper bracket is stamped from approximately .120 thick steel. Mounting MCC564 upper bracket mounts to the front of the intake and on the water pump Water pump MCC564 bracket is for big block Chevrolet engines with short water pump  and will mount the alternator on the drivers side of the engine just as the factory bracket does. Application For 1965 thru 1969 396 - 427 - 454 with a short water pump and the alternator mounted on the drivers side.
