(MCC568) Chrome Small Block Chevy Short Water Pump Upper Alternator bracket               Specifications for (MCC568) Material : Chrome steel , triple plated Copper / Nickel / Chrome Bolts : This bracket does not come with mounting bolts Lower : This does not come with the lower brackets they are MCC566 & MCC567 can be purchased separately Thickness :  This is stamped from approximately ..190 thick steel. Length : 14 inches Slot length : 3 inches Mounting : This upper bracket mounts to the drivers side of the engine to the upper water pump bolt  .Your alternator in turn mounts to the slotted part of the arm Waterpump : This bracket is for small block Chevrolet engines with short water pump . Application : For 1957 - 1968 small block Chevy with swp. Restrictions :  It cannot be use if you have converted to a late model one wire alternator (which has a larger case than the original external voltage regulator style alternators of the 60s or generators of the 50s ) and are running tall valve covers this bracket will not clear both we recommend use of MCC565 if this is the case.
