Chrome Chevy Alternator Brackets 350 383 400 LWP

Part #(MCC579) Installation tips: MCC579 bracket installs just as your factory bracket mounts. Due to minor variations in factory/aftermarket tolerances on intakes and water pumps mounting holes it is recommended that you install all bolts loosely and then tighten bracket in place evenly. Material Chrome steel , triple plated Copper / Nickel / Chrome Bolts  MCC579 Bracket Does Not come with mounting bolts Thickness Upper bracket is stamped from approximately .100 thick steel. The lower bracket is cut from .230 thick steel Mounting MCC579 upper bracket mounts to the front of the intake and the mounting ear on the water pump. Comes with upper and lower brackets Length of mounting arm Approximately 4 3/8 (slotted) Water Pump MCC579 bracket is for Small Block Chevrolet engines with long water pump  and will mount the alternator on the passenger side of the engine just as the factory brackets do. Application For 1975 thru 1986 350 383 400 with a long water pump and the alternator mounted on the passenger side. Restrictions Cannot be run with race style intakes that do not have the factory bolt holes for mounting bracket such as Edelbrock victor Jr. If you are running one of these intake manifolds use (use MCC576 and MCC581) or short water pumps Check Out these related items below
