Part #(MCC576) Installation tips: MCC576 bracket installs just as your factory bracket mounts. Due to minor variations in factory/aftermarket tolerances on intakes and water pumps mounting holes it is recommended that you install all bolts loosely and then tighten bracket in place evenly. Material Chrome steel , triple plated Copper / Nickel / Chrome Bolts  MCC576 Bracket come with the Allen mounting bolt Thickness Upper bracket is stamped from approximately .115 thick steel. Mounting MCC576 upper bracket mounts to the mounting ear on the water pump and does not incorporate the intake manifold. Length of mounting arm Approximately 8" Water Pump MCC576 bracket is for Small Block Chevrolet engines with long water pump  and will mount the alternator on the passenger side of the engine just as the factory brackets do. Application For 1969 thru 1986 327 350 383 400 with a long water pump and the alternator mounted on the passenger side.
