Part #(MCC575) Installation tips: MCC575 bracket installs just as your factory bracket mounts. Due to minor variations in factory/aftermarket tolerances on intakes and water pumps mounting holes it is recommended that you install all bolts loosely and then tighten bracket in place evenly. Material Chrome steel , triple plated Copper / Nickel / Chrome Bolts  MCC575 Bracket comes with the Allen head mounting bolt Thickness Upper bracket is stamped from approximately .120 thick steel. Mounting MCC575 upper bracket mounts to the mounting ear on the water pump and does not incorporate the intake manifold. Can be run with race style intakes that do not have the factory bolt holes for mounting bracket such as Edelbrock Victor Jr Length of Slotted Arm Approximately 8" Water pump MCC575 bracket is for big block Chevrolet engines with long water pump  and will mount the alternator on the passenger side of the engine just as the factory brackets do. Application For 1965 thru 1990 396 - 427 - 454 with a long water pump and the alternator mounted on the passenger side.
