Specifications for (MCC78)

Pair : The Price is for 2 valve covers

Emblems : approximately 1/8" thick  and are ,heat and fuel resistant .They are adhered with a thermal adhesive then baked @ 260 degrees to set the emblem in place and cannot be removed without damaging them

Thickness :  These valve covers are stamped from approximately .040 thick steel.

Application :   Ford F E engines  352 - 360 - 390 - 427 - 428

Restrictions : Some Mid 60,s thunderbirds will have brake booster clearance problem you must have 4 1/2 inches clearance between the head surface and booster to clear

Valve Covers : This set is factory height  . Each valve cover has one hole in it for accessories. They CANNOT  be run with aftermarket roller rockers

Baffled : YES, these valve covers come with steel baffles in each

Gaskets : NO, these do not come with gaskets, Any Quality gasket made for the your engine will work on these valve covers

Valve Cover Accessories : Hold downs, breathers, PCV valves etc. DO NOT come with the valve covers but can be located on the left side links on this page and purchased separately . Each valve cover has 5 mounting holes so you will need 10, bolts or spreaders etc. when ordering for this set NOTE:

F E Ford engines use 5/16 valve cover bolts

Installation tips : When tightening your valve cover start on the low side and tighten in a cross pattern to the correct torque spec . Do not over tighten the valve covers when installing them!
