approximately .080 thick steel.
Buying Guide :There are more than one style GM ten
bolt rear ends, if you are unsure which ten bolt you have
the simplest way to confirm is to visually check it to
your vehicles cover. All the ten bolt rear ends look
different and your stock cover should look just like this

Installation tips :
When tightening your rear end cover
start on the low side and tighten in a cross pattern to
the correct torque spec . Do not over tighten the bolts when installing
this part.
