We get many questions
regarding how to determine whether you have a long or
short waterpump. A simple rule of thumb is that all
Chevrolet engines big and small block with short style
water pumps had drivers side alternator brackets and long
waterpump has passenger side alternator brackets.
Be sure to determine
the number of grooves you will need for the waterpump
and/or crankshaft pulleys
